PARTNERSHIPS
Partner with Brook
Reach an engaged Ethiopian and global diaspora audience through long-form conversations about culture, identity, migration, technology, work and ambition.
Partnerships are selective. I prefer brands I can credibly explain, use, or stand behind.

01Why partner
Built around attention, not volume.
Brook Lives is built around attention rather than volume. Videos are designed to become conversations: subjects viewers debate, share, revisit and discuss beyond YouTube.
For the right partner, that creates an opportunity to reach an audience through trust and context rather than an interchangeable ad slot.
02Partnership formats
Ways this usually works.
01
Integrated sponsorship
A natural sponsor segment inside a relevant long-form video, written and delivered in the voice of the episode it sits in.
02
Multi-video partnership
A recurring presence across several releases, so the audience meets the brand more than once and in more than one context.
03
Long-term partnership
For brands that want sustained visibility with Ethiopian and diaspora audiences. A successful pilot can develop into a three- to six-month partnership.
04
Category partnership
Optional category exclusivity, for the right partner and the right campaign. It is agreed case by case, never assumed.
05
Custom campaign
For ideas that genuinely fit this audience and the editorial style of the channel. If it is a good idea, it is worth a conversation.
Pricing depends on scope, campaign length, exclusivity, deliverables and current audience performance. Deliverables are agreed in writing before anything is produced.
03Strong-fit categories
Where the fit tends to be strongest.
Examples, not a catalogue: these are the categories this audience already asks about. A brand outside them can still be a good fit, and a brand inside them is not automatically one.

04Partnership standards
The terms I hold myself to.
- Audience trust comes first. It is the only asset here that cannot be bought back.
- Sponsored content is clearly disclosed, in the video and in the description.
- I keep editorial and creative control over how a sponsor appears inside the content.
- A product or company has to be something I can credibly stand behind.
- A long-term fit is preferred over maximising the number of sponsors.
Not accepted
- Gambling
- Get-rich-quick products
- Questionable investment schemes
- Misleading migration promises
- Deceptive financial products
- Brands I cannot reasonably stand behind
05Long-term partnerships
The best partnerships are rarely one-off interruptions.
I am especially interested in recurring relationships where the audience, brand and content genuinely overlap. A first campaign can serve as a pilot before expanding into a longer three- to six-month partnership.
Nothing about that is automatic. Length, exclusivity and scope are agreed per campaign, after a first conversation about whether the fit is real.
06Partnership inquiry
Tell me what you have in mind.
A few lines about the brand and the campaign is enough to start. Everything marked optional can be left blank — an early conversation is still worth having.
